My husband and I are parents to 5 daughters, 3 of who are elementary age and 2 who are in college.
I am taking a small amount of children (not more than 4) to watch in my home. I will take children over night, weekends and on snow days. Your children will be treated as if they were my children while they are in my home. This means, if I am watching your child on a Sunday, they will go to church with us. If we were planning to go to a movie or eat out that evening, your child would again join us.
I am available to watch your children, newborn thru 14 at my rural farm home. My home is non smoking. I am a former daycare center owner and director. I closed my center in 2003 and I have since moved to this area and become a stay at home mom. I offer preschool and kindergarten learning activities (including but not limited to numbers and counting, colors, letters, learning to write our name, pretend role playing, reading) outdoor and indoor play. TV is limited. At my home, which is a working farm, your child will have the opportunity to observe animals and nature. We have all our pets and animals outside (except for fish, which are inside). Beginning with the 2007 school year, our family will be home schooling. We will be taking some field trips, which your child will be welcome to join.
I offer hot home cooked balanced meals and snacks. I will accept babies in cloth diapers.
I will take children on a daily or part time base, or before/after school. I am also available all but 2 weeks this summer (due to being dorm mom at church camp).
