Come and make some new friends at Little Ones Daycare!
We have a Montessori-style environment with lots of fun and activities. Our daycare enrolls children from 6 weeks to 12 years. We also provide holiday and summer care for school-age children with lots of activities for them. All of the toys are age appropriate and safe.
We provide year-long preschool for children aged 3-5. Preschool is in the morning from 9:30 am to about 11:00 am. The rest of the day is devoted to lunch, nap and free-time. They learn: math, language, arts/crafts, science, music, large and small motor group activities, letters and numbers.
The children in our care absolutely enjoy their day and are always asking what we are doing tomorrow! Infants and toddlers under 3 that are not old enough to participate in the preschool program still interact and listen to the activities, especially circle time, music, and dramatic play. The infants also enjoy tummy time, books, swings, and infant appropriate toys. For school-age children, they have a safe and friendly environment to finish homework, eat a snack, play, read books, and relax before going home.
We have a large backyard with a large playground, a smaller slide, tricycles, chalk, a basketball hoop, and a sandbox for the children. There is also a covered, cemented porch for the children to play under when it is raining.
Infants sleep in a separate room due to their inconsistency of napping. Every infant has their own playpen, and children 2 years and over sleep on individual cots. Playpens and cots are disinfected every day, and they have sheets that are washed every week or if assigned to a different child. Children sleep in the main play area during naptime from 1:00 to 3:00.
We provide breakfast, lunch, and 1 snack every day. Meals are nutritious and will include one grain, one meat, one dairy, one vegetable, and one fruit. Water is supplied by the city.
Rates are $130 per week for infants (less than 18 months) - includes diapers, wipes, and food, but not formula/breast milk. $120 per week for toddlers (18 to 36 months) - includes diapers, wipes, and food. $110 per week for preschoolers and up (3 years and up) - includes pullups, and food. I do provide a 10% discount on the highest rate if there are more than 2 kids enrolled. All parents will contribute 2 paper towel rolls per month to help offset costs. Parents need only bring extra clothes, pacifiers, blanket for nap, bottles/sippy cups, and formula/breastmilk.
I am the provider and I have a clean background and fingerprint check, and our daycare is fully compliant with Job and Family Services. We will provide references upon request. CPR and First Aid trained.
All of the children in our daycare love learning new things and improving their knowledge with lots of smiles and hugs throughout the day! |
