Services: I offer a fun, safe and loving in home registered child care for Infant through Pre-K childcare. I provide daily reports for children if parents request it. Accept SRS payments.
Environment: Non-smoker, 3 bedroom ranch home. 2 cats & 1 small dog. Infants to age 2 sleep in portable beds in bedrooms. Children age 3-4 sleep on cots or pads, and each with their own bedding. Nap time and meals are set at a scheduled time each day. I have a 11 year old daughter at school in second grade at Tomhawk Elementary and 6 year old son in school in the mornings. There is a large variety of toys, a play kitchen, dolls, puzzles, musical toys, infant toys and outdoor playground that is well shaded.
Strengths: Business strengths are reliable, organized, clean, communication, meal planning and record keeping. My personal mannerism is personable, compassionate, affectionate, encouraging, sense of humor and forgiving.
Activities: We take a few summer field trips depending on the age of children I am caring for at the time. Infants 3 to 18 months old activities are focused on building physical strength, gross motor skills and sensory stimulation. Toddlers age 18 months to age 3 focus is on fine motor skills, exploration, boundaries, musical play, nature discovery, manners and language. Children age 3+ are given Pre-K teaching with story time, pretend play, colors, language, manners, numbers, letters and exercise sheets from workbooks.
Experience: 3 year “Parents As Teachers” state training program and church nursery worker. CPR and First Aid trained. Nutritional courses through Daycare Connection. KBI background checked yearly and required by the state of Kansas. I have back up care available to cover for doctor's appts or illness. |

Requirements: Children must be able to adapt to a home daycare environment where all children are given equal attention and care. All children must have the ability to socialize with others as I am not trained to care for the Autistic, or Special Needs children. Children must maintain a non-agressive demenor. |
