Hello, my name is Maria. I have many wonderful years of experience with children, and I would love to meet you and yours. I am a 25-year old single female who just moved to Creve Coeur, MO on January 5. I am a non-smoker, and a very loving, reliable and dependable person. I have a three-year-old son who will not be with me as his father and I share custody. I'm flexible, willing to help around the house, run to soccer practice . . . and whatever else your family might need. My preference is to work full or part-time as a live-out nanny. I am a hard worker – willing to work as many hours as you need me to, including doing light housework and errands. I am currently working on my Masters of Arts in Education at Maryville University in which I will be graduating in 2009. I absolutely love children more than anything – they are dear to my heart – I cannot imagine NOT working with them! As a nanny, I believe my job would entail doing most everything that pertains to the children – including not only attending to the children's basic needs, but also working with them on their developmental skills. I would also definitely clean up after the children, do laundry, keep the children's rooms clean and drive the children to/from activities – basically anything that you would want me to do to help out.
As mentioned, I have several years of experience as a baby sitter and nanny. I think the most important part of my job, as a nanny is to serve as a loving, nurturing and trustworthy companion to the children. I know that I would be the perfect nanny for you and your child/children. I am a trustworthy, dependable, mature young woman, yet also fun, energetic, loving and nurturing. I love to do outdoor activities, such as going on walks or to the park. I enjoy doing arts and crafts with children, and reading stories and listening to music. I also teach children basic learning skills and manners, etc.
There is so much I can say to express how a perfect nanny should be, but I thought about it, and this is what I feel is most important to me as a nanny. Being a part of a child’s life is very meaningful to me. I feel that it is extremely important for a child to feel that they are safe and loved unconditionally. While they are in my care, I treat children with the same love as if they were my own. I also believe that communication between the nanny and the family is very important.
