The Learningden Family offers childre 18mo-kindergarden a loving home away from home. Preschoolers are rapidly expanding their knowledge and mastery of the world around them. Our classrooms provide an enriched environment that nourishes each child's social development.
The Preschool Program:
Inspired by the Reggio Emilia approaches to early childhood education, our curriculum primarily emerges from the interests of and questions posed by the children. Teachers are considered partners in learning; providing thought-provoking and open-ended questions in order to help the children discover their own answers and information. Interests are further fostered through projects and activities that allow for exploration using a multitude of materials and media. We believe children have an enormous potential and curiosity. The staff at The Learningden Preschool understands that children's knowledge needs to be brought out using their natural curiosity. We believe that each person constructs their own intelligence from direct interaction with the environment and in social groups.
Admission conditions
The Learningden Preschool is open to all children and families, Unfortunitly at this time we are not able to take non- amblitory preschool children at our preschool site.
