Little Monkey’s Family Childcare is fully licensed, which includes fingerprinting, background checks and cpr/first aid training.We are a family preschool that offers loving personalized care for children. It is important that our children are allowed to be children. We spend lots of time playing, listening & sing to music, doing hands on art projects and reading stories. We follow the Early Beginning curriculum with is a program that allows children to "learn how to learn" by helping them discover answers through hands-on learning activities that stimulate their curiosity and creativity.
We are looking for families who desire a high level of communication about their child's preschool education and daily experience. We offer written or emailed daily reports for each child, if desired. Each day at drop off and pick up we also connect with each parent about the child’s day and talk about any important issues. This is a quick but very important process that insures that we can provide the best preschool experience possible for you child and that you can feel confident that they are receiving it.
We are an msg and caffeine free home that stresses the importance of healthy choices in eating. This is reflected in the meals that we serve to the children. All meals are made daily on site from scratch. Bread is baked daily as well.
Children do not need to be potty trained to attend the preschool, although I do prefer that children who are potty training do not use disposable pull-up but instead use a high quality cloth training pants. Please inquire for more information about out potty training program.

About me: I am college educated woman who has been a stay at home mom for seven years. I have many years of experience caring for children and greatly enjoy the time I spend with children. I have a great passion for reading and music, enjoy sewing and crocheting and practice attachment parenting with my own children. I have completed college courses on teaching music & drama for young children and can play the piano (which we do as often as possible!)
