I believe children thrive best in a” family style” home away from home setting, with a provider who is extremely active, creative, and nurturing. I have a love for nutrition, arts, books and music. I incorporate these things into my program everyday. I strongly feel that children best learn from their environment, and the world around them. I am a firm believer in family values. Teaching children respect for themselves, adults, each other, and everyday manners.
A typical day at Mama Bear's Preschool & Cub Care would include-
~Music and Movement
~Circle time (ABC’s, shapes, numbers, weather watcher, and calendar)
~Story time
~The Learning Circle
~Preschool/Kindergarten readiness curriculum
~Arts and crafts
~Science & Math, Language and Literature
~Nutritious, (mostly organic) USDA meals

I am very selective about the families I accept into my home. Each family is chosen individually based on whether or not I feel they will appreciate my services,and whether or not their child will fit in well within and benefit from our established group and Pre-School program. |
