Little People's Center is a private day care located in Medford, NY since 1972. We are a small business owned and operated by women who live in the Medford Community. We are centrally located between Sunrise Highway and The Long Island Expressway steps off route 112.
It is our mission to help each child maximize his/her potential in education and social areas including social relationships, language development, learning skills, and physical abilities. Little People's Center offers a Child Care program which provides an introductory school experience and socialization for children ages 2-5. The children at our center are provided with a balanced curriculum, reading readiness, emergent reading skills, and mathematical preparation. In addition, they enjoy many opportunities to play and experiment. We have a large fenced in outdoor area where the children delight in games, science, building and exercise. We are advocates for play; play is important for socialization, problem solving and ultimately stress relief. We encourage face to face engagement with other children, caring adults, and the natural world.
