At Building Blocks, our belief is that children learn through hands-on experiences that allow them to explore, manipulate and create. Play offers children the opportunity to explore new ideas, practice making choices, feel competent and in control, interact with others and fine tune new skills. Activities that are based around the creative arts (music, art and drama) contribute to the physical, social, emotional, intellectual and creative development of the child. The creative arts play a vital role in the development of the whole child. We believe in a Plan for Learning and a creative curriculum to stimulate a child’s curiosity and natural love of learning and exploring. Building Blocks provides an environment that is positive, loving, nurturing, stimulating and fun!
