I have 30 years of child care experience. For the first eight years I was a family child care provider while my son was young. I then spent 20 years at local child care centers. In time I was the director at three of the centers. Three years ago I returned to a family child care setting. I have blended the best of both settings and believe I have created a unique program that consistantly meets the needs of the families enrolled. My program is discovery based and follows the interests of the children with special attention given to social/emotional, physical, cognitive, and language development.
Admission conditions
The children enrolled in my program are encouraged to explore the environment and the materials within this environment both inside and outside. I do not hinder their play or disrupt their discoveries to protect their clothes. Play clothes are essential and extras are necessary. Expect the children to look like they have had a busy day by pick-up time.
