I have been providing childcare for 30 years. I have been licensed for 18 years. I have a daily pre-school class for all children ages 2,3, and 4. All children are accelerated academically when they leave my facility to go to Kindergarten. I am in the process of being nationally rated by LAUP. I will be the only rated childcare facility in the city of Hawthorne. I am a board member of Family Childcare Network. I have 2 Bachelor degrees (Psychology and Criminal Justice) and I also have 30 units of Early Childhood Education. I am continually taking classes and workshops in the area of Child Development. The children have full access to all educational materials in the daycare and they also have daily learning curriculum. I have a science center, writing center, math center, reading center, manipulative/puzzle center, block center, dramatic play center, listening center, quiet area and a backyard with play equipment and activities. I serve breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner. I look forward to hearing from caring and loving families. I have no pets. I do not drink, smoke, or use any types of drugs. I am CPR and First Aid Certified. I do not give the children any junk foods. The foods served are healthy and nutritious. I work with special needs children if needed. Extended hours are available if needed.
Admission conditions
The only admission requirement is that the children have up to date immunization records. Additionally, I must interview each family and observe the child in the environment.
