My in-home daycare and preschool is called Melissa's Munchkins! I have been a daycare provider for 4 years and have progressed from a nanny to a full-time daycare with a pre-school curriculum. I use a combination of lesson plans from "Kidsparks" as well as the "Letter of the week" programs. This combination of lesson plans include all the basics such as letters, numbers, shapes, colors as well as Super Science, Sound of the Week (phonics program), and a daily craft project. It has proven to be an amazingly fun and creative tool for Kindergarten preparation. I have more information on this program and referrals upon request.
I am located in North West Bakersfield near Rosedale North Elementary. I have CPR and 1st Aid Certificates as well as the required TB and Livescan Clearances.
I serve breakfast, lunch and 2 snacks everyday. I try to instill table manners, encouraging "please" and "thank you", and using words to get our needs met.
