I've been watching children since I was in grade school. Now that I am able to be a stay at home mom, I get the pleasure of watching the little ones grow right in front of my eyes. It's absolutely amazing. I keep good communication with parents/guardians to ensure that everyone is happy with the care the children are receiving.
I also have experience taking care of the elderly both in their homes and in an assisted living setting.
At my home daycare I provide breakfast, lunch and snacks. I also provide milk & juice. I am willing to make homemade baby food to help you cut down on your costs. I have bibs & sippy cups as well. No need for you to provide a bed for naptime either. I try to make everything as convenient as I can for the parents.
I am actively involved in potty training when your child is ready. I have several potty books for the children to read while they are "trying to go." I have a button the kids get to push when they go on the potty to make it fun.
I have a playroom for the children. There are lots of books to read, games to play, and toys to play with. I have Little Leaps, Baby Einstein, Sesame Street, School House Rock and other educational DVDs and toys. There are Lincoln Logs, Legos, Zimbos galore. I have a play kitchen and food. I have pianos, bongos, etc.
Your child will receive lots of hugs & kisses from me and the other children. I stress getting along and having a positive attitude. The children I watch have a hunger for knowledge. I'm currently watching a Kindergartner & Frst Grader that love begining Algebra!!
I am avaIable for full-time, part-time, before & after school care (Stonegate Elementary District), and drop in care (with 30 min notice). Give me a call so I can answer any other questions you may have or to set up a family interview.
Always ensure that your child receives quality care by taking the time to investigate the provider and by asking for references! We simply cannot verify the claims of every daycare provider.
