Hi.
My name is Shannon and I am a single, Christian, non-smoking, 26 year old, SAHM of one 6 year old boy. I have more then 10 years experience watching children and we are searching for more friends to join our family.
We spend 10-15 hours at the park each week. I provide only homecooked meals, have a dressor filled with arts and crafts stuff, allow only nonviolent play and television, and take my kids on "field trips" atleast twice or more a month. We have lots of books and toys and I am always ready to help with homework or sing the abc song. I encourage considerate well-mannered behavior, we follow THe Golden Rule. I never watch more then 3 plus my own so yours is guarenteed to recieve loving and empowering one-on-one attention.
Currently, I have 6-9 year old children in the afternoon through evenings and would like to open my home to younger children during the morning, possibly those that would benifit from basic early lessons (ages 2-5) as I really enjoy working with children to help them better prepare for kindergarden. I do not have any early learners right now but have helped families in the past, truly enjoyed doing so, and would like to again.
I have room for ages 2 and up, all shifts, morning, afternoon, evening and overnights. My weekend schedule is completely open though most Sunday mornings are for just my son and I. Drop-ins are always welcome.
