The purpose of our family child care homes is to provide a nurturing, stimulating, and safe environment for your child, and to encourage your child's intellectual, physical, social, and emotional development. I've designed my web site to answer your questions about our policies, approach to education, and the daily operation at our family child care homes.
Our two licensed family child care homes are located just north of the airport off of I-94 near the Howard Avenue and Holt Avenue exits. Caring for children from 6 weeks to 1 year at our 1st Place Child Care location (located near I-94 and Howard Avenue (4041 S. 1st Place, Milwaukee). We have two providers for eight children. Our second licensed family child care home is Kaye's House LLC (located near I-94 and Holt Avenue (201 W. Warnimont Avenue). At Kaye's House we care for children from 1 year up to 2 and a half. We have two providers for eight children. Our third location is about to be licensed. It is 1st Place Child Care Too LLC (located near I-94 and Holt Avenue (3626 S. 1st Place, Milwaukee). At 1st Place Too we will have a mix of children from 2 years old to 12 years old with one provider.
Daily activities include: Skills and concepts reinforced in early literacy, dramatic play, math, science, circle time, music, movement, social skills, and more. Indoor & Outdoor activities. Nutrition is a very important part of a childs physical and mental development. At our family child care homes we provide a very balanced and nutritious breakfast, lunch, and snack for the children. All meals include a variety of vegetables and fruit.
