My goal is to provide a warm, fun and inviting atmosphere for children. I believe that children learn more effectively when they are relaxed and when they don't realize they are learning. Studies show that children learn more through play, interaction and imitation. Providing a comfortable, stable environment for children in their most formative years is the primary goal at Child's Play Day Nursery.
My program is state licensed for the care of eight children.
They may range in age from infancy through 5 years old.
My program consists of some structure, but not so rigid that the
children are unable to enjoy being children. I encourage all my "little ones" in areas such as: creative art, dramatic play, indoor/outdoor exercise, literacy skills (story time, flannel board, puppet theatre), science, cooking and an introduction to reading readiness. The children are also introduced to basic Spanish vocabulary and an introduction to "sign language."
Admission conditions
There is a security deposit equal to one week's tuition fee due at the time of enrollment, except in the case of delayed enrollment (then the amount due will be determined by the provider). No child will be allowed to start daycare without having paid this deposit and a full contract must be signed and dated before the first day of care.
Always ensure that your child receives quality care by taking the time to investigate the provider and by asking for references! We simply cannot verify the claims of every daycare provider.
