Hello, all looking for child care my name is Alicia I have done child care for almost 10 years. I have been doing licensed in home care for almost four of them. I currently have openings starting in May for all ages. I have all trainings and safety classes up to date and I am also a part of JCCCA.
I provide an age appropriate curriculum for each child specific to there needs’. I provide one on one time with each child. We participate in a lot of different art projects that follow our curriculum and or the season or holiday. I currently have been working with the children using ASL (signing) basic with the alphabet, counting and just a few other ways to vent when we get a little over excited. I work with each child when developmentally reading for potty training and have also been using ASL for that as well. I have a basic schedule that we follow daily so that your child is a little more comfortable with what is suppose to happen. All the children get a chance to help with baking, making their own sandwiches even in shapes, and also help make homemade play dough. We do a lot of hands on projects, sensory play. I provide a breakfast, a lunch and 2 snacks that all follow the nutritional guide lines for in home child care. I am part of Kids Nutrition.
We do small field trips in the summer as far as going to the Zoo w/ doing picnics, the park w/ picnics and the Children’s Museum. Every Thursday we will start water play w/ weather permitting.
I have large yard for running and playing games. I use my basement for a play are as well as learning time. I also have references on request that can be given out also.
