I have been a day care provider for the past 28 years. I received my license to provide childcare in October of 1977. It was to be a short-term profession just until my own two children were in school full-time. Those two children are now 31 and 29 years old with children of their own. I am still providing childcare and hope to continue doing so for many years to come. I am now watching children of children who were previously in my care. They must have liked it here to be bringing their children back to me.
