• Early Childhood Education major during undergrad
• Completed a 2 year program in ECE prior to undergrad
• Former substitute teacher, Americorps member, preschool teaching assistant, camp counselor & former member of Waldorf Education study group
• Nannied for a family of 3 full-time during college summers, full-time with toddler & full-day/half-day weekly simultaneously for last 2 years for variety of area families
• Experience teaching parent/child program, children’s dance classes along with recreation & camp programs

• Experience working with children with multiple food allergies, vegetarian, kosher, Muslim, & organic/whole food families as well as with families who have multiple children at home & all age groups- sugary foods are not served- nutritious, whole, all organic or natural snacks only
• Singing through the day, swimming or water play (in season), parks/playgrounds, reading aloud AND storytelling, cooking & gardening activities, walks outside, creative art (open ended/process oriented) plus a walk & outdoor time everyday- great for environmental, active & creative families (tv is never on during open hours- we actually store it in a closet so it’s not even in sight)

• Breastfeeding & Attachment Parenting friendly childcare- provider is a Certified Breastfeeding Loving Support Peer Counselor. Many providers turn away cloth diapering families but they are happily accepted here, along with babies who enjoy time worn in a sling!
• Ideal for the stay-at-home parent who works part time, is taking classes or simply needs a weekly break
Available for part-time & occasional or before/after care, will consider full time care on a case to case basis

Before and after care only provided if child rides schoolbus to Springfield Crossing Apartment complex or if parent provides transportation via carpool, taxi or babysitter.
Pets, cigarette smoke and peanut products are never in the home- safe place for allegic children
All forms including contract must be signed prior to first day of care.
Families pay for scheduled childcare whether or not they choose to utilitize the services for that day/time. Last minute cancellations do not release the family from responsibility to fulfill their employment obligation towards the provider. |
