About me
My name is Renee and I have been in the childcare and preschool field for over 5 years now. I have been married for 6 years and I am a mother of 2 girls, ages 5 and 8 and I have been married to my husband Richard for 6 years. I am director qualified and have 30 credit hours in early childhood development and psychology. I am also continuing my education in the early childhood field at Red Rocks Community College. I am CPR and first aid certified and I keep current on all required training needed to keep my home happy, healthy and safe. I am also a member of the Jefferson County Child Care Association. I love children and enjoy my work and that makes for a happy atmosphere.
About my home
I live on a low traffic, child friendly cul-de-sac that we often ride bikes and play games in. I have my entire basement dedicated to my child care and it is a warm child friendly environment. I also have a large back yard that we spend lots of time running in the sprinklers, playing tag and other fun activities. We have free time and structured time throughout the day that includes time for play and learning. I believe in learning though play so we do lots of games, reading, role play, problem solving, crafts, coloring talking and singing. We also go on trips to the library; craft centers museums parks zoos and much much more. (Trips are during the school year and on vacations)
