Description

Welcome to A Mother’s Care. I hope your children will have many happy experiences here with me and hope that your children feel this is their “home away from home”.
A Mother’s Care is inspected on a regular basis and does meet or exceed the qualification for licensing standards of the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services. I also comply with all local health and fire regulations.
PHILOSOPHY
I believe that children are a special gift from God. I also believe that all children are entitled to a childhood full of happiness, free from stress, offering many opportunities to develop their full potential intellectually, emotionally and socially.
PURPOSE
The program at A Mother’s Care has been designed for families whose parents work and require alternative care for their young children. My program will:
A.Emphasize creativity and self-expression for language development.
B.Develop academic concepts and skills.
C.Encourage gross and fine motor activities.
D.Nurture self-confidence and social skills to aid emotional growth and well-being.
E.Develop habits of cleanliness and learn basic principals of health and safety.
F.Use positive discipline to foster coping skills and behavior management.
STAFF
As owner and operator of A Mother’s Care, I have completed first aid and CPR certifications for infants and adults. I have an Associate degree in Early Childhood Education. I have a Bachelor degree in Psychology with a focus on children and business. I am also a state certified food handler. I have chosen childcare as a profession because I believe there is a need for good childcare homes and I enjoy taking care of children and assisting parents in their child’s growth and development.
A Mother's Care employs 2 assistants. Assistants are thoroughly screened and are readily available to lend a helping hand.
Admission conditions
Must be up to date on immunizations and have a shot record as well as a physical on file. Must complete all state required documents. Must love having fun!!!!
