-We here at Small Steps believe that children are active learners who learn best through hands-on manipulation of the environment, as well as knowledge from teachers and adults, to build their own understanding of the world around them. We strive to provide children with the opportunity to learn by manipulating the environment and through activities and information that is offered at a developmentally appropriate level.
