At Monica's MerryPlayground Licensed family daycare we provide a Quality child care environment that will enrich and foster your child's socio-emotional development while in a family setting.
I have one full time assistant who is also CPR/ First-Aid certified. I have been a member of the Orange County Child Care Association since 2000 and the coordinator for PITC -Program for Infants and Toddler Care. I have a BA from CSULB and in June received my Master Teacher certification in Early Childhood Education.
I do field trips for the children over the age of 3 yrs , to places like the Santa Ana Zoo, Library, Discovery Center, etc. The children are given a lot of outdoor playtime, which helps them develop independence and their large muscle(gross motor skills) . Our preschool activities include Music/Movement, Arts and Crafts, Story/Reading Time . We potty train, provide hot nutritious meals,and local before/after school pick up.
Admission conditions
We at Monica's MerryPlayground can do after school pick up at local elementary schools such as: Peter's, Warren, Violette, Stanley, Evans, and Crosby. My home is a primary bus drop off area for Eisenhower elementary.
