I am looking for a long-term relationship between myself, my daycare children and the daycare parents. It is my goal to help raise your child and give your child a stable environment where they can expect routine activities.
I offer a home-away-from-home setting for your child, when they can’t be in their own home! Your child will be in a structured, educational environment with lots of free play (when kids just need to be kids)! Also incorporated in my daycare program are preschool-type activities for lots of learning and arts and crafts to spark your child’s creativity. We do a daily circle time that includes the calendar, weather, Pledge of Allegiance, a song/poem or finger play and a story. We always celebrate all the holidays by having parties and doing projects and/or arts and crafts to coincide with the particular holiday. Birthday parties are another fun time for us. We go all out with decorations, hats, cake, games and a gift for the birthday girl or boy. Your child will be made to feel very special on their day.
We also have a daily outdoor playtime (weather permitting) and a daily quiet, rest or nap time. During our outdoor play time in the winter, the kid in me comes out and I enjoy sliding down hill, building snowmen, etc., right along with the children. Children are not always required to sleep during quiet time, but they are required to lie quietly on a mat and may choose to watch a G rated movie, in order to offer quiet time for the other children who do require sleep.
