I have been a 'licensed' provider for 10 years. I am not a stay-at-home mom as my children are 19 and 26. I resigned from the government to 'stay at home' and take care of your children. My favorite saying is... "What noise?..."
I've had the oppotunity to be a guest at the White House twice; once under Sr. Bush and once under Clinton and nothing compares to how happy I am when my home is full of children.
My friends say it's because I am an only child.. probably but all I know is that I absolutely LOVE IT! The noise, the commotion, and It's never a stressful situation... well, maybe when everyone is sick but, that's not often.
Also, due to my squashed dream of becoming a 'school' teacher I have an excellent 'Early Education Program'. I am their 'First Teacher'. Every child that has completed my program has started their 1st year of school on the honor roll.
I practice an ecclectic way of teaching and, everyday is opportunity to learn something!.
I provide: Excellent meals (menus are provided weekly); a weekly 'We've Been Busy' report; a monthly Newz Letter and a Monthly Curruiculum Calendar. Also, I posses a gift for gab and, thus could go on and on...
I hope I have sparked an interest in my program and look forward to hearing from each and everyone who reads this (smile). Good luck in your search!
