I provide loving care in my home to children ages 5-10years old. I am available 7 days a week, 6am-6pm. Early morning and evening care also available(no overnights, sorry). After school time is when we spend the afternoons preparing snacks together, working on homework, learning new games, experiencing art, experimenting with science, and playing with our friends.
Transportation is provided to Live Oak schools. All meals and snacks are provided. I offer affordable weekly, daily, and hourly rates based on your unique daycare needs.
I also provide full time care for schoolagers on school holidays and vacations. These days provide us with lots of time to work on kid-directed projects and activities. Field trips and outings are provided throughout the year including going out to lunch, visiting playgrounds, exploring the library or visiting other community attractions that are of interest to the children.
I strive to provide a home-away-from-home for your children while you work, while also providing for my own family. I have an AA degree in Early Childhood Education, schoolage development units from CSU, Chico, current CPR & First Aid training as well as Health and Safety training. I continue my education through community workshops and classes focused on childcare issues and topics. I am an active member in the Bi County Daycare Association and the California Association for Family Child Care.
I do have some experience caring for children with ADD/ADHD and willing to work with families to create a successful childcare arrangement for their child.
