BASIC PRINCIPLE
HUGS N CUDDLES DAYCARE believes children as young as 6 weeks old to the tender age of 6 years old should learn essential cognitive foundations that will help them develop a strong knowledge-base needed for academic success. They are as follows:
1. Comprehension, drawing inferences, and making predictions.
2. Problem solving.
3. An ability to “inter-translate” between language and mental images.
4. A set of self-management skills that include: attention management, comprehension monitoring and persistence.
Teachers find it easier to teach a child who possesses a strong background in language skills, listening comprehension, attention management skills and positive attitude toward learning.
Your children will benefit from HUGS N CUDDLES DAYCARE’S basic principle of providing quality child care.
