I am a licensed preschool teacher as well as a licensed home day care provider. I graduated form the Massachusetts Early Childhood Education program 9 years ago and taught in daycare centers until 7 years ago when I opened my home to children. I believe the smaller group setting allows for more interaction with the children. I focus on emotional as well as social development in a fun and nurtuing environment. I offer a literacy based program approved by the state as well as NYAC. My private home is 18 years old on a dead end street. My neighboors consist of a nurse, fireman, and retired dental assistant. I have a HUGE yard, and a finshed basement set up for the sole purpose of daycare. I provide meals, and financial assistance is available if needed. I am a member of the Community Partnership progam as well as Childcare of the Berkshires.
