I am a licensed and NAFCC accredited home daycare provider and foster parent with over 30 years of experience specializing in children of different abilities. I am an active member of a daycare association. Within my association we encourage and provide events for families that include children as well as events for just parents and providers to promote healthy partnerships for the overall well-being of children. I am currently working on a degree in Early Childhood Education that will aid me in providing the best caring and learning environment.
I believe that all children are special and unique. It is my goal to provide children with a safe environment that nurtures self-esteem and security. I provide an informal education program to promote learning though hands on play and discovery. Children will also learn how to build loving and positive relationships with their peers and providers.
I encourage parents to discuss expectations they have and/or want for their child and myself. I am always open to any feedback about myself as a provider. It is important that parent and providers communicate together and establish a good relationship which is in everyone’s best interests, especially the child’s.
