We are a licensed group daycare in a loving home environment. The husband,wife and son team collectively have a B.S. in elementary education and an A.S. in early childhood education. The first floor of our smoke free home is converted to daycare rooms. We provide child-sized cots, tables and chairs, a play kitchen area, couches for sitting and reading, and many shelves full of books and toys. The windows are at the height that a toddler can watch the world go by. Air purifiers keep indoor air at the highest quality. Our daily program includes story time; music; interactive learning of letters, numbers, shapes and colors; and many opportunities to develop small and large motor skills. (i.e. play dough, puzzles, coloring, painting, cutting and pasting, blocks and small manipulatives). Our fenced-in yard is covered with play mulch for safety and offers swings, a slide, a sandbox, toddler climbers, a castle and an elevated clubhouse. We also have a 20' x 40' bike riding area. |
