I provide child care for children ages 3 months and older. I also dedicate a portion of the day for a preschool curriculum, including story time and hands on activities. However, whenever possible, outdoor play is a priority. I live in a quiet neighborhood with a cul-de-sac that makes outdoor play convenient and safe.
I have my degree in Elementary Education, and have been a nanny for over 13 years. I am CPR certified, and even though I am not licensed, I am up to code with all the safely requirements. I am a member of a Daycare Association which keeps me updated with all the latest guidelines, and rules.
I am license exempt because I will only care for 3 children other than my own. I have 2 children, and therefore will only have 5 children max at any given time. I feel as though having a small number of children allows me to dedicate the one on one attention that each child needs and deserves.
Always ensure that your child receives quality care by taking the time to investigate the provider and by asking for references! We simply cannot verify the claims of every daycare provider.
