I am not simply a "baby sitter". I want to provide an environment where the children can learn and play and grow while in my care. We would draw, paint, color, cook, play games, read stories, etc.
The environment is my home. I have 2 children of my own (an 8 year old girl and a 6 month old) so we have a wide variety of toys and things to play with. My only downside is that because we have dogs, I do not have an outside play area for the children. So, I would take the kids up to a park right up the street from my home. This park has full play equipment.
Always ensure that your child receives quality care by taking the time to investigate the provider and by asking for references! We simply cannot verify the claims of every daycare provider.
