Children are the love of my life so to begin their future, we do learning activities indoors and outdoors. We also work on our numeric numbers, shapes, sizes, colors, letters, etc. We dance and sing songs, watch education movies (during certain times of the day), fingerplays (itsy bitsy spider). I live in the countryside so there's not alot of cars to worry about. I like to take the kids on a little adventure around the property and show them the animals we have here. I make it a learning adventure and ask them several questions such as, what do the animals eat, where do they sleep and how they sleep, etc. I try to make it fun for the children.
We all know kids like to explore so to keep them safe from all the chemicals, I have child locks on everything where the children will be during the day. Kitchen has a gate so the children have to stay in the daycare room til I let them out for whatever reason whether it be outside play, eating, or leaving at the end of the day. My bathroom also has child locks on the cabinet. All electrical plugs are covered and corners protected.
Please keep in mind, I AM NOT A BABYSITTER, I am a licensed Child Care Provider!
