I am a licensed Christian daycare provider in the Coon Rapids area, serving Hoover and Morris Bye Elementary schools. I strive to have no more than 6 children, including my own son and daughter, so that I can take the children to the library and on other field trips. I am on the USDA food program and will provide a fun, clean, safe, and loving environment for your children. I look forward to meeting you!
Because this is my home, my schedule is structured, but informal. If the needs or demands of an individual child need to be met, then I will change the schedule to accommodate his/her needs. I will allow plenty of time each day for free-play, both indoors and outside (weather permitting). Grace will be said over all meals and snacks. Lessons of forgiveness, sharing, and compassion will be taught. As your child gets old enough, I will teach him/her how to set a table, bake cookies/treats, and how to grow vegetables and flowers. We will play games, exercise and dance, sing songs, learn letters and numbers, read plenty of stories and occasionally watch children’s movies. Every child in my care will be expected to participate in a nap/quiet rest period following lunch. |
