Description

OUR MISSION

To work in the complete development of your children’s cognitive functions, mental abilities and thinking process to form creative and thoughtful human beings. We believe in educating the kids with a sense of values, attitudes, and social behavior, which will lead the child to be a respectable citizen. In addition to building self esteem, self-respect and family principles.

OUR METHODOLOGY

Our methodology is based on the concept that a child is an independent individual who builds his/her own knowledge. In addition, we encourage them to development a set of skills as individuals and as members of a group. Also, we emphasize a bilingual education (Spanish and English) so that the child improves their artistic and communication skills through educational projects to foster love, moral values and a peaceful living.

¿WHY LITTLE CREATIVE MINDS SUPPORTS LEARNING BASED ON EXPERIENCE?

We believe this kind of education is very important within the first five years in a child’s life. During this time, children learn everything by watching, touching, smelling, tasting and hearing. This is necessary for them to be able to understand more complex concepts later on in life. In addition, our staff works very hard to give every child the attention he/she needs.

¿WHY LITTLE CREATIVE MINDS IS AN EARLY LEARNING CENTER?

Our staff is highly qualified to take care of your children’s education. Little Creative Minds offers an excellent curriculum that reflects on the kids’ attitudes. To accomplish the objectives of our programs, our teachers have to differentiate each child according to their needs to be able to strengthen their deficiencies if we find any.

LITTLE CREATIVE MINDS AND THE FAMILY

For Little Creative Minds is fundamental to know the children’s families and their surroundings. As we get a closer relationship with the parents or caregivers we can predict in
a certain way their child’s behavior. Therefore, it’s very important to count with every child that becomes a student at our learning center.

Little Creative Minds programs are more than child care: early learning, preschool, and after school programs that provides quality programs with an emphasis on bilingual education, we are licensed by the state of Illinois Department of Children and Family Services for Early Learning Center. We are also in process of NAFCC and NAEYC accreditation. Because we believe in the importance of education early in a child’s life, our teachers have their studies in education early childhood education, CPR.

We use teacher-directed and child- initiated activities that build both mental and motor abilities, teach social skills, encourage positive self image and develop self-discipline. We use a developmentally appropriate curriculum and follow the Illinois Early Learning Standards. In addition, learning through play along with parent involvement activities are keystones to the program. We use appropriate staff-child ratios for the age of the children.

We believe that a family’s income should not exclude them from quality programs for their children. We serve working families and single-parent families by operating throughout the year, five days a week from 7:00am to 6:00pm. We provide our programs without regard to race, gender, or religious affiliation.

It is our goal to ensure a safe and nurturing environment for children. Our program structure reflects a concern for the development of positive social skill. We believe that children who are comfortable in social settings and who can communicate effectively are children best prepared for the challenges of life. The program operates with a variety of structured activities, developed around weekly themes, under the supervision of trained and licensed staff.
