We are a Licensed Group Daycare Home that has Full Time openings for your great child to join our fun! We are really excited for you to meet our great group of kids and join us in Preschool Learning and Play in a home environment.
Our day starts at 7:30 AM and ends at 5:30 PM. We follow a routine each day and get outside as much as weather permits. My backyard is fenced in with lots of Little Tykes toys, sandbox and jungle gym to play on. So far this winter we have made it out in the snow to build snowmen and forts, if everyone brings their snow gear. During the summer we have weekly Splash Days with a slip n slide, wading pool, and sprinkler. We have at least an hour of free play each day. We rotate toys sets each week so that your little ones mind is always stimulated with new ways to play. We are a Non-Smoking Home, Pet Friendly Home.
We believe in learning thru play balanced with:
Music Time Singing, Dancing and Tumbling
Story Time We read books daily. Scholastic program available to encourage reading at home
Craft Time Baking, painting, or just coloring every week.
Science Time Basic experiments, estimation, nature, etc.
Manipulatives lacing, play dough, tracing, beads, puzzles to encourage finger dexterity
Play time/free time outdoors and in
Computer time Fisher Price Cool Skool available to older kids

We learn ABCs letter recognition and letter sounds, counting, numbers, days of the week, shapes, colors. 3s and up are encouraged to read books to me and practice writing skills beginning in Tracing workbooks. We work on learning how to spell and write our names. Learn our phone numbers and addresses. Basic sight words for Pre K.
We focus on social interactions. We use our words to express feelings. We use our hands to help and not hurt. We use our ears to listen and follow directions. We use our manners to make our friends feel appreciated.
At the end of the day you will receive a What I Did Today email to inform you of your child's day (What we ate, When we napped, Had our diapers changed, etc.)
We are enrolled in the CACFP food program - so your child will receive nutritionally balanced Breakfast, Lunch and Snack each day. Infants- Choose to bring your own formula or breast milk or choose to use the formula I provide. I am CPR Certified as a Professional Rescuer thru American Red Cross, also trained in First aid training, and I take ongoing training thru Day Care Connection!
