Your child will receive high quality, educational care. Your child will not be placed in front of the television to be ignored as is the case with some in-home day care facilities. Instead, your child will be fully engaged in fun activities that stimulate their senses and encourage mental and physical growth. As a mother of three and an educator, I possess the skills needed to help guide your child through life.
A little bit about the Owner/Operator:
-I am a certified teacher with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Elementary Education including an accreditation in English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL).
-I have over 10 years of experience working with children. Several of those years were spent as a primary teacher in the Pinellas County Schools System.
-I am certified through the Red Cross in both first aid and CPR/AED for use on adults, children and infants.
-I have experience working with children with special needs both personally and through UPARC as a teacher’s assistant.
-I am honest, caring, compassionate, and patient.
-I love to have fun and work hard to bring that energy to the children I work with.
Child-centered activities are combined with school-readiness activities. This arrangement provides your child with a way to be creative as well as with a rich learning environment.
Activities include:
-Circle time with music and learning activities
-Singing and Dancing
-Time for free-play with age appropriate toys
-Read-Alouds
-Pre-school reading, writing, math, and science
-Trips to the park
