At Mother Earth’s Children, we offer a play-based emergent curriculum. The environment is set up so that children are encouraged to explore, take risks, be creative and imaginative, and be problem-solvers. We strive to instill values of intrinsic motivation, self-worth, and respect for others as well as for the environment. We use a relationship-based approach, encouraging positive interactions among peers as well as caregivers. We model empathy, compassion, and conflict resolution and encourage children to communicate their needs and feelings to one another in a positive manner.
At Mother Earth's Children, cloth diapers are used for children requiring diapers, and we use all-natural cleaning solutions in order to provide a safe environment for the children. We have also been certified as an eco-healthy child care program. In addition, children in the program enjoy yoga as well as exposure to the Spanish language. There is a capacity of six children in the program.
