I have been a family daycare provider for more than 7 years now and have two of my own children, ages 7 & 9. I am a child at heart and my approach is very much child-driven. Yes, I have a loose curriculum and we do incorporate learning standards as often as possilbe, but how children learn is based through play experiences. I am a musician, playing viola since I was 11 years old. I also love fitness and dance and have a group fitness instructor certification as well. I use these talents, my love of child-like play & wonder, and formal studies when planning out activities do do with the children.
