I am an infant/toddler/preschool Occs certified teacher and state licensed daycare provider. Director I and II certified and lead teacher certified. Certified in first aid and Pediatric cpr newly updated according to my states rules and regs for operating an in home daycare. I have over 10yrs experience working in the field of Early Education and Care as an Educator, including kindercare Learning Centers and St. John's Children centers. I am also a mother of a 2 year old little boy myself. I have outstanding references and can provide parents with both state and family references for whom I am currently providing care for. I only enroll a small few 4 children at full-capacity, not your traditional daycare where you will see 6-10+ to one teacher ratio. I offer a more personalized private daycare in a new lovely home. From the educational stand point because I am a licensed teacher, I am able to provide children with the individualized tools and building blocks for learning and devleloping/acquiring those necessary social skills for further advancement. I offer a thematic approach to learning with learning areas set up (book, block,math,science,art and manipulatives, E.T.C.). Developmentally appropriate curriculum is always implemented and a full stimulating program with new themes each week to build on skills and abilities that children already have and ample time to acquire new skills. Each week we work on becoming more competent across all domains physcial,emotional,social,language, cognitive, gross, fine motor skills. My curriculum offers a balance between both sturctured and unstructured activities active and quiet learning. play is always the vehicle for learning and growing. I also have speech certifications and offer true experiences for language and literacy development and can provide special education services as well as I have had experience in working as a Early Service cooridinator for Early intervention.
