I have been providing services for over 25 yrs. I am a Grandma to 2 beautiful little ones.
I do pre-school with them. We do a lot of reading. I teach them sight words. I have had teachers for the past 5 yrs or so and they did not have to put them in pre-sc as I provided that!
I love my job and think I am good at it. The whole front room is a playroom, with lots of age apprpriate toys. We love to go outside for play every day. When they do watch videos they are usually educational.
Always ensure that your child receives quality care by taking the time to investigate the provider and by asking for references! We simply cannot verify the claims of every daycare provider.
