I concider my daycare a home away from home, Love and safety come first. We read books, play blocks, paint, color, lots of outdoor play. I have a great yard for the kids and enjoy being outside with them watching them learn and grow. I incorporate learning in everything I do by just asking them questions. If we read a story I will challenge them with the ending, they already know how the story ends but I will ask what if it ended another way etc. so they can use their imaginations, Working on colors, shapes, numbers and abc's. Manners and just learning to be social with the other children is very important also, and teamwork and sharing.
