Each day begins a fresh. I work diligently so that the children can play diligently. Their “job” is to explore, interact and do something new. My goal is to help them see something new or different each day. Learning is repetition. We take the same concepts and explore them in different ways. Coloring a letter, then cutting out the shape of the letter, singing about the letter, signing the letter and writing the letter. Using as many senses in the process of learn to touch ALL learning styles. My goal to is personalize our lessons to meet the needs of each individual child. As a home schooling parent utilizing the virtual public schools, I am given the same curriculum that your children will receive in the public schools. I am teaching these same concepts to the children in the preschool to give them a strong foundation and easier transition into kindergarten.
Before and After School Care
As a homeschooling mother of elementary students we are well prepared to help your elementary student with homework, class projects and other areas of interest that the schools just don't have the resources for.
We work with your child to expand their knowledge by exciting them in areas that are sparked by THEIR interests. We work on incorporating life skills and social skills creating a well rounded child.
Admission conditions
We are a Christian family and expect that children attending our home child care respect our rules. We encourage play, interaction and life skills focusing on respect, honesty and gentleness with one another. We discourage the use of weapons, harsh words and frighting stories in our play.
