I am a licensed daycare provider. I run the daycare out of my own home and my current hours of operation are 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. I have two children of my own. I have a lot of childcare experience, I am CPR and first aid certified by the Red Cross and I have references. I love babies and kids and watching them learn and grow.
In my home, we read a lot. I have a large collection of books and it is one of our favorite activities. Aside from that, we do crafts of all kinds, spend time outside in my large backyard, sing songs,and of course, play. We have a lot of toys!
I like to keep my group size at 6- children. I care for children 0 weeks - 3 years. I develop excellent relationships with the children and we have a lot of fun.
I also try to prepare children for pre-school which includes ABC's/123's recognition, activity sheets, arts & crafts, storytime, etc.
I also believe that children need free play to learn how to get along with others, use their imagination, socialize, etc. |
