I consider myself to be a kid at heart sometimes and I think there's still a little bit of kid in everyone and I believe that's why I love working with children so much but not only that I get an enjoyment of teaching them things that I use to do as kid myself and I love teaching those things just for the fun of it. My first job was a daycare attendant and I did that for 3 years and I loved it from day one and it made me feel good to know that the kids really appreciated me for all I did, the parents would come up and say "So you're Miss Kennedy, we've heard so much about you." I'm trying to be brief but I also want to provide enough information about myself as well so forgive me if it seems a smidge longer than what it's suppose to be.
I care for children ages 11 months to 3 years old out of my home.My daycare rate are $25 week for 11months to 1 year old and $50 week for 2 -3 years old. I will work with you on rates if I can.
I offer the following to the children I watch:
•Maintain a safe play environment.
•Dress children and change diapers.
•Observe and monitor children's play activities.
•Communicate with children's parents or guardians about daily activities, behaviors, and related issues.
•Sanitize toys and play equipment.
•Keep records on individual children, including daily observations and information about activities, meals served, and medications administered.
•Support children's emotional and social development, encouraging understanding of others and positive self-concepts.
•Identify signs of emotional or developmental problems in children and bring them to parents' or guardians' attention.
•Assist in preparing food and serving meals and refreshments to children.
•Instruct children in health and personal habits, such as eating, resting, and toilet habits. |

Must be able to bring child to daycare everyday from 11am-8pm or whateva time is best for you,I will work with you.Also you must reside in Baker,Scotlandville,Plank or Baton Rouge,La or a surrounding area.I can not except childcare certificates. |
