I have been in the childcare business for 10 years and currently am in the process of obtaining my degree in Early Childhood Education. I am 22 years old and graduated from the local high school. I am a proud stepparent to 3 wonderful kids ages 2, 6, and 8 and am expecting my first mid-summer. Because of our newest arrival, I decided to put my talents to work to help out other parents. Before opening Cradles to Crayons I worked in a high needs special education room as a paraeducator for 3 years. During the school year we will focus on letter and number recognition for the children in my care during the day and I will offer a preschool curriculum that focuses on Kindergarten readiness for even the youngest of children. During the summer months I will offer activities ranging in library outings to trips to the local pool and park which are located only a few blocks from my home. In addition, nutritious meals and snacks will be provided throughout the day and lots of other fun activities!
