Mae inherited a wonderful and unique knowledge of spiritual yoga and meditation at young age. She was raised a pure vegetarian and has been enjoying such peaceful and healthy teachings throughout her life. Her passion for children’s education along with her extensive experience sparked to create her first childcare service in San Diego emphasizing meditation, yoga and a pure vegetarian diet. Happily surprised by it’s success and receiving numerous requests from many, many friends and clients, it energized her to expand. She opened San Diego’s very first children’s daycare center completely devoted to Healthy Living — encouraging Meditation for self-development, Yoga for physiological, psychological and biochemical benefits and a Vegetarian diet promoting health and environmental awareness.
Derived from early childhood education, Mae uses a play-based curriculum in her program — with a positive touch geared towards a Healthier Lifestyle. She teaches a myriad of intellectual subjects such as language arts, reading, math and science along a balance of artistic activities - singing, dancing, crafting, painting, drawing, cooking, baking, dramatic play and games. Most importantly, she cheerfully encourages indoor and outdoor gardening, nature exploration and discovery, yoga exercises, postures, and meditation to inspire self-awareness among all her children. This remarkable aspect truly makes Miss Mae one-of-a-kind! |
