Description

Looking for more than just a babysitter for your child?? I own and operate my own licensed small home day care located in Fox Lake, IL and am licensed by DCFS to care for children ages 6 weeks-12 years old. I have an assistant that helps me on an as needed basis to ensure that all children get the love and attention they need.

I run a predictable and structured program which includes free play with educational, fun, and age-appropriate toys, music, arts and crafts, outdoor time, group activities, and tons of reading for ALL children, no matter their age. We're so busy playing and learning, we very rarely watch television!!

I have my Masters in Teaching and write and teach my own preschool and kindergarten curriculum for children ages 3+. For infants and toddlers I provide a loving, stimulating environment in which they thrive. Overall, I am dedicated to providing children with love and patience and encourage them to learn about and explore the world around them while they are in my care. As a parent who formally utilized home day care providers, I decided to open my own child care program with a goal to offer parents QUALITY, trustworthy, and affordable child care as their children learn and grow. Additional information about my program is as follows:
*Licensed by DCFS
*CPR & First Aid Certified
*I file income taxes and receipts are provided to parents
*Quality continuum of care - no need to secure an outside preschool for your child once he/she reaches 3! Your child can grow and learn with us!
*Loving children that serve as good role models (my own children and my day care children are happy, kind, respectful, and love other children)
*I provide breakfast, morning snack, lunch, and afternoon snack. I serve healthy, nutritious food and participate in a government funded nutrition program.
*Member of the Lake County Home Day Care Network (LCHDCN); National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC); and USDA Child Care Food Program.
*I provide detailed, daily reports so parents are completely informed of their child's activities, meals, mood, etc. for the day.
*Many long-term, positive references available (for privacy reason, available upon request).
*Openings for full or part-time or temporary care!
