Here at Brighter Horizons we possess many great qualities. We never tend to more than a certain amount of infants & toddlers. We exceed state guidelines with children to adult ratios. Unlike large daycare centers where it is crowded with children and your child is possibly just another adorable face, at Brighter Horizons it is a family setting. We get to know each child individually. We learn what they like, what they dislike, their favorite books & songs, etc. We teach them manners (please & thanks yous, bless yous & excuse mes) , as well as cleanliness. We clean up 3 times a day. Our center is always kept clean and no shoes are worn inside.Your child doesn't have to wait until they are 3 years old to be introduced to preschool curriculum. Here our 2 year old children begin working on recognizing and writing their numbers and letters. Our 1st & 2nd graders are doing 3rd grade work. A young mind is a terrible thing to waste & a child can learn anything you teach them, all it takes it repetition and patience. Our infants are currently working on the 'Your baby can read' program and a lot of them are beginning to recognize the words.
