My name is Lakeisha Cameron, I am a professional childcare provider. As a family child care provider, my goal is to provide a safe and happy place for children where they can learn and grow physically, emotionally, intellectually, and socially at their own pace. I believe children learn through play and benefit from a structured yet flexible schedule. Activities will be offered which stimulate sensory motor development, language development and social interaction. The development of strong self-esteem is also a major goal. Children will be taught to respect each other, adults, and property. My home daycare meets all the requirements established by the District of Columbia office of the Superintendent of Education. I understand that you are trusting us to care for your child, and we take this responsibility very seriously. We look forward to the opportunity to care for your child, while providing a positive influence in their life.
Admission conditions
Children may be enrolled from six weeks through four years of age, regardless of race, creed, or religious beliefs. All applicants must complete a Hakuna Matata daycare Enrollment application (one per child). Each child must have a copy of the following on file:
1. Immunization record (from doctor or Health Department)
2. USDA Child Care Food Application
3. Childs birth certificate
4. Child’s Social Security Number
5. Recent TB test
6. Valid annual physical
7. Payment agreement
8. Oral health form (from child’s dentist)
9. Parental care agreement with daycare
10. Travel and activity authorization
11. Information sheet
12. Child care agreement checklist & handbook acknowledgment
